IMC brings some cool new smart alarm systems to the market, called the Watchman range. The first panel to launch is the W2. It packs a huge amount into its sleek design! Now you have options. You have control! The W2 is bundled with two PIR motion detectors, one door sensor, two remotes and two RFID fobs. That is the basic set of accessories to get you up and running. If you wish, there’s a huge range of extra accessories you can order!
Everything is managed through your iOS or Android app. The W2 smart art panel allows up to 34 wireless devices to be connected. Many of these devices can be custom-programmed to suit your needs. The door contact, for example, can be used to make the panel sound a chime wen the door is opened – just so you know people are coming in of going out.

No more do you need to drill through your house walls, pull up floorboards, replaster and everything else associated with a wired install! Now, there’s a smart solution in town that’s wireless. It connects each accessory to your alarm panel using WIFI and every accessory uses batteries to power. The alarm panel is informed when an accessory’s battery is due to be changed and you get an alert on your app that the battery is getting low. Each accessory uses only small amounts of energy and the batteries do not require changing very often. Gone are the old days of going wireless and paying a fortune in batteries!

The Watchman range comes with so many additional accessories such as cameras, smart sockets and indoor sirens. you can programme your smart plug sockets to operate lights and all other electrical devices remotely – either on a programmed timer or as and when you want to switch them on and off. This is useful to deter potential intruders knowing a light comes on at night, for example. The indoor siren actually has three functions: the siren for alerting you, a WIFI extender to ensure your devices connect in larger properties and a hub. A hub can have its own devices connected to it to perform a set of local processes and still connect to the panel.
Once you’ve connected your system and you’re up and running, there’s a wealth of extra tricks you can learn to make your system exactly as you like it – all for less with so much more!
